As a part of Book Week Scotland 2014, the Special Collections Centre of the University of Aberdeen ran a competition asking people to write a story inspired by one of four images on their website. I entered with a story called Remembering The Sand, inspired by the image on the right. Sadly I didn’t win but my entry can be found on their website, along with the entries, here. The Actors of Truth

Earlier this year I had my short story Truth published by Spontaneity. In my Author’s Notes about the story I said:

Last Sunday I finally watched Wes Anderson‘s Fantastic Mr Fox. Considering I think the book is one of the Roald Dahl‘s best, the film had a lot to live up to. Part way through watching I tweeted the below:
