Well after a week of no inspiration and another of too much (the idea was too big for the word limit) inspiration stuck again and I headed back into the Summer of Super Short Stories with Ripples of Choice which you can read below. My short story Grandpa’s Trees, that I recently self published on this site, was my entry into Luminous Creature Press’ Summer of Super Short Stories 2 Competition last week. As I said in the introduction to that post. The story had to be under 350 words, include the phrase “tell me a tale” and inspired by the picture on the right.

By now you have probably guessed I didn’t win but I got some nice feedback from the judge Emily June Street.
