The last meeting of West Lothian Writers happened to be on the same as Ernest Hemingway‘s 116th birthday and to celebrate everyone was asked to write their own Six Word Stories as, if you believe the legend, Hemingway‘s invented the format with his tale
For Sale: baby shoes, never worn
Of course I wrote some six worders (while I wait for my train to Livingston) which can either be found here on the WLW website or below the break.
On Sunday the 2nd of November I submitted my story Absorbing Art into 99 Fiction’s Horror Flash 500 Competition. If you haven’t already please head over to 99 Fiction and read my story. It would be even better if you could like it as it’ll give me a better chance at winning!
Be warned, there will be spoilers for Absorbing Art below the break!
As you may have noticed I haven’t been posting much on here recently. This has been down to a number of things (mostly good stuff!) however, I now have more time so there will be more posts coming. However, let’s go over what I’ve been up to while I was away.
Revamping This Website
The changes aren’t huge but I’ve been re-ordering What I Have Written Page into two new pages. One for My Short Stories and one for my Movie and TV Reviews, which splits down into years while Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Doctor Who and Homeland all have their own pages as I have written so many reviews on them. Check them and let me know what you think of them in the comments below.
I’ve also been busy writing new reviews for Culture Jam with six already published so far this year and another four (at the time of writing) waiting to be published. To read my reviews so far check out the 2014 TV and Movies Reviews page.
